First, did you see Latisha's cute tag project yesterday! Clean. Simple. Beautiful.

Today on this Terrific Tuesday we have project inspiration from JULIA. Go check out her blog and leave her some love.

Also, today on the PaperCrafts FACEBOOK page Avocado Arts is being featured. GO check this out NOW! for a chance to win one of these...

and... YOUR CHOICE OF ONE OF THESE...

You're reading it RIGHT! We have THREE BRAND SPANKIN NEW scrapbooking and card friendly releases designed by our own Lisa Hetrick up for Pre-Sale today! They will be shipping on or before June 12th. GO HERE TO PRE-ORDER!

Strike-a-Pose Set Design Fun Facts: This kit was designed with the concept of an old skool viewfinder and/or movie reel with an interactive twist. The viewfinder image is large, the type fits inside each image cell and there are buildable elements. It can also be used as a game spinner. The “cell” elements inside the circle can be cut-out to reveal pics, words, etc. The AvocadoType words fit into the mini banner element and can be “pinned” on the viewfinder as a buildable element. We are planning some movie themed add-ons to this kit in the future.

Say It! Pennant Style Fun Facts: This kit utilizes the banner/pennant concept for journaling and page building. There are builder elements provided to create with: a journal block within the pennant, journal word prompts, scallop, star and flower image builders and a whimsical rope to tie it all together.

AvocadoType Fun Facts: This letter type set has been exclusively designed by Lisa for Avocado Arts. The style shown here is all lower-case, provided in two size options. There is a coordinating number set, mini banner image for word building, hearts and flower builders for embellishments or to “dot” the “i’s, “j’s”, etc. When the larger and smaller size type are mixed together it creates a “faux” upper and lower case (see words in Strike-a-Pose and the Say It! Pennant Style). The serif lines on the b’s, d’s, g’s, j’s, p’s, q’s and y’s are long and allow for building the small stamp elements into them.

Here's a little project inspiration using elements from all three of the NEW KITS.

Check out the detailed shot using the Strike-a-Pose set. You can make your own interactive spinner, viewfinder or movie reel style image. The sentiments included in the set fit perfectly in the openings.

Fun Facts about the layout. See below. Each set is so versatile, giving you countless options for scrapbooking. And... the images work very well on cards and other projects, too.

Week 2: Pit Crew Project Re-Cap and The Rubber Stamp and Scrapbook Expo

Did you see the Pit Crew's projects this week?

Get your Sunshine and Smiles stamp set TODAY!

Here's a little re-cap to get your creative juices flowing!

AJ started the week off with a clean and simple card creation that was bright and sunny. She used the bee image and the swirly trail builder to create movement.

Latisha created this lovely using the stem and poppy image from the set. She colored in the poppy image using copic marker reds, topped it off with a ribbon to match and added a touch of bling to accent the hello. The sentiments in this set stamp so crisp and clear.

Julia made us all smile with her happy, happy and super colorful card. The pink, orange and green combinations in the stamped images are so nice. She also used brush tip markers to color on the butterfly and swirly tail to create stamped color that matched her tree coloring perfectly.

Kimberly created this beautifully paper-pieced card creation using the boot and cloud images. She also repeated the "thinking of you" sentiment around the card, creating a nice box feature. They lined up perfectly with the clear stamps. This creation has a lot of dimension, too.

Becky created her own patterned paper using the poppy stamp and repeating it. Being able to see your stamped position with clear stamps makes this technique so do-able. Try it. She also accented the very edges of the poppy image with a little bit of copic marker, giving it some pop. The "thinking of you" sentiment is highlighted with a simple sewed line underneath.

What an awesome week of project inspiration from the Pit Crew.

Home Decor Inspiration

Your stamps are the most versatile product in your STASH. Why not use them to create decor pieces for your home or office! This cute Maya Road bottlecap is the perfect home for stamping a scene using the new Sunshine and Smiles set.

Super simple, one-layer of cardstock. I hung the sentiment off the bottom of the cap using jump rings, attached a ribbon and done. Easy peasy.

I used the "flip tip" we mentioned last week to create the shadow behind the poppy flower element. Here's the tip in case you didn't get to see it.

I'm always looking for great inks and colors to work with my stamps. What's your favorite ink to use with clear stamps? I have some favs. My current go to's are: Memento by Tsukineko and ColorBox by ClearSnap.

Tell us what you're favorites are so we can share them with all of YOU!

Tomorrow starts WEEK TWO of our Pit Crew project inspiration. AJ OTTO will be starting us off. Be sure to check her out!

Re-Cap of Pit Crew Inspiration!

Wowsa! Did you see the Pit Crew's projects this week? Holy Guacamole there was a ton of stampy goodness this week.

Here's a little re-cap to get your creative juices flowing!

AJ started the week off with a super cool rainbow card that utilized one of the image builders. She used a Spellbinders die as a template to get the rainbow just right. Check out her BLOG for the tutorial.

Latisha created this gorgeous card with the garden boot image. She popped up the boots and grass to create dimension. She stamped the thinking of you three times, so perfectly, perfect. Clear stamps make it easy to "SEE" what you're stamping and Latisha was right on.

Julia rocked it out with this cute watercolor card. Look at how she watercolored in the puddle and masked in the clouds. This is a one layer card that looks like it has so much dimension.

Kimberly created this scrapbook page that captured the essence of Bug catching. Look at how she used the bee building image to make fireflies and cut out the grass and clouds to use as an embellishment. The Sunshine and Smiles set is perfect for scrapbooking, too. Check out her BLOG for close-ups.

Becky brought all the HAPPY home with her colorful card using the garden boots. Look at how she used the flower image builder to create a bouquet inside the boot. And... look at all that dimension in the grass.

Stay tuned tomorrow for a 3-D project I created.
