It's Pear-fect With Kelli

Kelli is on the blog today sharing three beautiful projects she has created!  This stamp set is Pear-fect for all occasions!  Make sure and leave her some love.

Hey there Stampy Peeps!  It's my turn to share the AMAZING new stamp set Pear-Fect with you all!!!  Talk about FUN!

I have always loved the ease of creating that comes with the Avocado Arts Stamp sets.  Pear-Fect is no different!!!!    I mean seriously, just look at this set....

Don't the ideas just POP all up in your brains???  YES!  MINE TOO!!!!  SO.... I decided to create some cards featuring Moms.... I mean, where would we all be without her???

This first one I created by combining 2 sentiments and the lamp.  I used some FUN new puffy paint like stuff called irRESISTible in Lady Bug.  It's shiny and BRIGHT red and FUN!!!!!

Next up is a lil smooshy gooshy one I created using some Stampin Up Framelits and my trusty 1/16" hole punch.  Some Authentique DP and BAM!  Insta Smoosh

Then up comes the FUN little guy I created when I had a left over oopsie heart already cut out so I ran with it by stamping the sentiment diagonal and opposite the pear.  The pear, which is Pear-Fect by the way, is paper pieced in Doodlebug Springtime DP.  Some Doodlebug sprinkles and some Twine add to the card making it all sparkly and, well PEAR-FECT!!!

OK that's all for me folks.  Now get yourselves over and get that set!!!

Pear-fect Fun With Pinky!

Patterned paper, pop dots, stitching and stamping with Pinky today!!! She ROCKED this stamp set...check it out and leave her a comment!

Seriously...are you dying over this amazing stamp set, because I am!
SO diverse and perfect for so many projects.

My first card is a clear acrylic card I used some pretty floral papers and
a spool of "thread" I made for the SEW MUCH sentiment.

My second card I went with old school 70's colors, because of that super
cool lamp stamp in the set, I mean how could I do anything else??

And my third card I went cutesy because the pears make me smile...every time!

I love this set, it's my new favorite!!
Have you gotten yours yet? What are you creating??

Until next time, keep on creating!

Pear-fect with Heather H.

Happy SUNday!  Heather has created 3 absolutely awe-inspiring cards for you today using our new release...check them out and leave a comment for her!  Have a great day everyone!!

Hello! Heather here from Houses Built of Cards - here to share some projects with the new stamp set for April called Pear-fect! As always - there is such a fun mix of images and sentiments! Something for everyone!

I just had to start with that sweet pear that this set got it's name from!

Layered together some tag dies, some Heidi Swapp pattern paper, a bit of vellum and a doily, and the sentiment heat embossed in vellum. The pears I stamped on the green pattern paper - then inked a bit with distress ink for some dimension - also coloring in the stem and leaf with Copics. Did some machine stitching to attach the sentiment and the tag layers together, attached the two pears with foam adhesive, and stapled on some May Arts ribbon at the top. SOOO fun!

Next up, as Mother's Day is fast approaching, I thought I would make a simple Mother's Day Card:

I pulled out a stitched pattern die for the base of the card - I thought it went perfectly with my sentiment from this set! I heat embossed it in vellum (love how that gives the stitched letters a bit more texture, just like real stitching!), then layered it on some Lawn Fawn paper. Punched a couple holes and tied it together with jute twine, then attached with foam adhesive to my card base. Simple, but I love how it all pulls together!

And finally - that little lamp with the perfect sentiment! Had to make a quick shaker card:

For this one, tore a square of watercolor paper, added a slightly yellow background, and stamped my lamp over the top. Added a yellow rectangle shaker element, with some tiny little stars in yellow and silver inside, then heat embossed my sentiment on a hand trimmed black banner. The second picture shows the watercolor and the little stars a bit better.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day!

Pear-fect with Jo

Good Morning!!!  Jo is with us today sharing three outstanding projects that are Pear-fect for any occasion- especially Mother's Day that is right around the corner.  Leave her some love!

Hi everyone, Happy Thursday! My projects for you today are three cards using the new stamp set "Pear-Fect".

Card 1: Thinking of You

This card measures 4"x 4". I used the sentiment "Thinking of You" and the image of the flowers in a wheelbarrow. It's colored with Copic markers and I added some shimmer with the Wink of Stella Clear pen. The card base is a cream cs. Just a cute little card to let someone know that they are in your thoughts.

Card 2: You light up my life

This was pretty much a CAS card. I used the sentiment "You light up my life" and the lamp image from the set. Again it's colored with Copic markers and the Wink of Stella Clear pen. I used some stitched circle/rectangle dies to cut the cs and patern paper.

Card 3: love you sew much

Lastly, I used the sentiment "love you sew much" from the stamp set. I have a plethera of buttons, so I dug in and adhered them to the card forming a heart shape. In case you couldn't tell, LOL, I strategically placed a heart button in the center.

So those are my cards for you today. This set is delightful to work with and hope that you enjoy it as well. Thanks for stopping by and make sure to come back to check out what the other Designers create!

Have an awesome day!

Autism Awareness

We are so excited to be sponsors and supporting this fantastic blog hop!  April is Autism Awareness month and I have some very dear friends and people in my life that know first hand what Autism is and the importance of educating others about it.

We created the stamp set "All About Love" to include a puzzle piece-one that is the symbol of Autism.

One of our amazing customers, Jodi McCormack's, son Liam was the inspiration behind this.  He captured my heart as Jodi shared pictures and adorable video of Liam in daily life.  It gave me insight into life with Autism and I know it has helped educate me and many others.

Jodi also created "Liam's Smashbook" using Avocado Arts stamps, bright colors and moving parts!

Here are just a few of the incredible projects made by customers and our outstanding Design Team using the puzzle pieces and sentiments from "All About Love".

Avocado Arts Designer, Tenia Nelson created this.  Her adorable son Theo also has autism.

Loved how Connie Mercer, a past Avocado Arts Designer created this in honor of her grandson that also has autism.  So CUTE!!!

Pinky (Cristal Hobbs) made this gorgeous card in honor of her son that also was diagnosed with Autism.  She has this fabulous logo on her Facebook page:

Education is the key part for others to understand what Autism is.  The parents that I have met that have children with Autism are INCREDIBLE!  They take the good days with the not so good days and work hard to educate others.  I applaud you for being OUTSTANDING parents and educators.  With that, we are going to give away some great stamp sets to honor Autism and the moms and dads that work hard to educate others!

and our newest release that is PEAR-FECT for that special someone in your life:

Thanks for checking out this very important blog hop!  Simply leave a comment and we will randomly select winners for each of these stamp sets and will post the winners on our blog.
