Tie-riffic with Heather H.

Heather has 3 projects today that will inspire you for sure!  Take a look and don't forget to leave her a comment.  Have a GREAT day!

Hello! Heather here from Houses Built of Cards - here to share some projects with the new stamp set for May called Tie-riffic! This is such a perfectly timed set, with Father's Day just around the corner:

I started off with the fun remote control - do you see the fun sentiments that are even on that?!?!?

I used Hero Arts ombre inks to stamp them, fussy cut them out, then attached with foam adhesive to my panel that I used a wave border to die cut. I also wrapped some jute twine around and knotted it in the front - a bit more masculine than a bow! Added my sentiment, then attached to my pattern paper with foam adhesive.

Next up, who could resist a fun recliner? :)

I stamped it on pattern paper, then fussy cut it out. Adhered it with foam adhesive to my card on which I had stamped my sentiment in two colors, and layered over a die cut oval and a bit more pattern paper. Added a few enamel dots to finish this one off.

And finally, a super simple card - which usually means the perfect masculine card, right?

I simply stamped the Father's Day sentiment 3 times on a die cut tag, added some string to the side, and attached to a woodgrain cardstock cardbase.

Masculine cards tend to come a bit harder for me, but this stamp set definitely made it easier! Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day!!!

Tie-riffic with Pinky!

Pinky shares her projects today and nailed it!!  Leave her some love!

Hey friends, it's Pinky today with 3 cards that I really loved creating.
I have 3 boys so masculine cards and layouts are my comfort zone...
for the first card I stamped on canvas using StazOn ink.
The whole set is like having several sets!

And here is a good unisex card, for the chef or mom!
I will be using this quote stamp-all the time trust me.
And here I decided to combine quotes for my baby daddy card.
My boys loved it....
Loving the TIE-RIFFIC theme!

Tie-Riffic with KelliJo

Good Morning Fabulous Avocado Arts Fans!!!  Kelli is on the blog today sharing 3 "tie-riffic" projects using our new stamp set that is perfect for so many occasions.  Check this out and leave her some love!

Hey Peeps!  It's my turn to show you some goodies featuring this months stamp set called Tie-riffic!  It's a HOOT!  Just in time for some Father's Day cards

My first card is a CAS card, you know, the ones you make when you think... "Ummm, WHAT day is it?  WHEN is Father's Day?" lol  **disclaimer** I've only heard that this happens.....

Very simple card to make,  I stamped the sentiment in the corner in Real Red, found my matching SU Marker and used a ruler to make a frame.  I then took the flipper stamp and stamped it smack dab in the middle!  BAM!  I FLIPPIN LOVE THIS!

My next card is just a stepped up CAS card!

Ties were stamped in Old Olive and Crushed Curry, the same colors were used for matting and a piece of DP from the Fancy Pants Swagger line.  I stamped the sentiment right over the top of the ties.

My next card is just a bit "fancier" of a CAS....
The image of the recliner was stamped then colored in with Copics.  The image and sentiment were mounted on Early Espresso CS.  I used another piece of the Swagger DP and ran it through my wood grain embossing folder and mounted all of that onto another piece of Swagger DP.

OK that's it for me Peeps!  Thanks for popping in and make sure you pick this set up.... Father's Day will be here before ya know it! ;)

Tie-Riffic with Jo

Jo has three OUTSTANDING projects to share with you today using our new stamp set release!  Check it out and leave her some love.

Hi everyone! My cards for you feature the new stamp set "Tie-Riffic".

Card 1: You're "Tie"riffic!

This card measures 3 7/8"x 4 1/4", I just cut the base to fit the size of the scrap paper that I already had. Talk about CAS, I used the sentiment "You're "Tie"riffic!" and the tie image with some pattern paper and that's it folks! I just like how clean and to the point the card it.

Card 2: NUTS about YOU

Another CAS card using the sentiment "NUTS about YOU" and the nuts & bolts image from the set. I created a diagonal stamped background using a light grey pigment ink. To add a little bit of detail, the white cs is cut with a stitched/pierced rectangle die. I had the perfect embellishment, these metal screw brads. So instead of using rhinestone or pearls, these were just right.

Card 3: Relax and enjoy your day!

Lastly, I used the sentiment "Relax and enjoy your day!" and the recliner image. The image is colored with my Copic Markers. I used some stitched dies for the cs and pattern paper. I love how the feminine damask image is paired up with the masculine leather recliner. Lastly, I added some black flat back pearls as embellishments.

So those are my CAS cards created using the "Tie-Riffic" stamp set. Dad's need love too, it's their turn to be thanked =) As always, thanks for stopping by and make sure to come back to check out what the other Designers create!

Have an awesome day!

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Happy Happy Mother's Day to all the mom's today -well every day is Mother's Day is what I tell my boys. I am feeling very blessed as I have THE most amazing mom. Our year started out with my dad being in the hospital for almost a month, after slipping on some Minnesota ice and breaking his elbow. Unfortunately, my mom repeated the very same thing and ended up breaking her shoulder, fracturing her back and breaking her wrist in 2 places. It made me realize that life is very fragile and I am so very fortunate to have both of my parents. My mom is one of the most giving, hard working, loving, beautiful inside and out-human being that I know. She offers unconditional love every single day!! She is my friend, my cheer leader, my biggest supporter, a listener, the best grandma to my boys and MY MOM. I love you to the moon and back Mom! Your Grandsons LOVE you and feel SO LUCKY to have YOU as their Grandma!! Looking forward to seeing you and spending the day with you today!

I am also celebrating Mother's Day as the Mom of these two incredible young men. They are now taller than me but as they grow, they continue to give the best hugs! They have been through a lot but their strength shines brightly. So BLESSED to be your mom Kirk and Nate!! LOVE YOU SOOOO MUCH!!!

Happy MOTHER'S DAY everyone!!!!
