FALL in Love with Connie

First of all...a huge Congratulations to Connie as she welcomes a new grand baby boy!!  She found some time to create this beautiful Fall card using our new stamp set "FALL in Love".

She stamped the images on vintage dictionary paper!  Absolutely love this look!

Connie continued with the dictionary paper and stamping on the inside of this gorgeous card.
The stitched stars and sentiment just pop off the paper.

Gorgeous job Connie!!  Make sure and leave Connie some love because we are announcing BLOG CANDY WINNERS tomorrow ;)

Enjoy your day!

Fall in Love with Heather P.

Hi, everyone! Heather P. here with three projects featuring the new September set, Fall in Love.

For my first card, I started by first stamping the wheelbarrow image with stazon ink, then watercolored it.  While I was waiting for the image to dry, I stamped the sentiment onto a strip of orange CS, and heat embossed it with white powder.  I then die cut a tag shape, and stamped it with one of the grass strips from Sassy Chick.  Before adhering the sentiment strip with pop dots, I also added a strip of turquoise polka dot paper to the bottom of the tag.  Once the wheelbarrow image was dry, I cut it out and attached it to the tag with pop dots.  Next, I added some twine and a bow before adhering the tag to the card base.  To finish up, I embellished with yellow pop dots.

For my second project, I started by die cutting a tag shape from green polka dot paper, then stamping it with the chevron strip from When & Where and heat embossing it with white powder.  I then stamped one of the sentiments from Fall in Love, and heat embossed with platinum powder.  Next, I stamped the owl image with Stazon, then lightly watercolored it in.  Once it was dry, I fussy cut it out, and adhered it to the tag. A yellow tag reinforcer was attached to the tag, and orange/white twine was braided and tied in a bow.  To finish up, I covered the owl with stickles, and added glossy accents to the eyes and goodie bag.

For my last card, I repeat stamped the Autumn sentiment in aqua ink onto white CS, and adhered it to a gray card base with pop dots.  I then die cut a silver glitter heart, and attached it as well to the card front with pop dots.

Well, that wraps it up for me, but be sure to check back on the blog for more Avocado Arts inspiration! :)

Fall In Love with Annette

Good morning everyone!  FALL is definitely in the air here in Minnesota.  Annette shares three beautiful projects focusing on the upcoming Halloween/Autumn season using our new release FALL in LOVE!  Check this out!

Good Morning Avocado Arts friends. Annette here with you today to share this fun September release: Fall In Love.
I just love this big script on the Autumn sentiment. Autumn is my favorite time of year.
Well how cute is this little Ghost? I just had to add these goggly eyes.
The background is created with Tim Holtz distress inks and I took a white gel pen to the stars.
I thought it would add a look of shine to the stars.
I stamped over the sentiment again with white again to add the shine.

I just had to use the Autumn sentiment again with this fun watercolor background.
Thanks for stopping by and letting me share with you today.
This set is available now on the Avocado Arts online store HERE.

Happy Crafting.

Fall In Love With Pinky

 Hey friends,
I think every single month I say I "fall in love" with the new AA
stamp set and how fun is it that this set is called "FALL In Love"?

I have this acrylic clear card I created and I wanted to keep it
pretty clear so you could see the stamping inside.

This set runs from FALL to Halloween so you really get a double whammy.

My second card is using fall colors and the "Barrow Of Fun"
sentiment- which is simply adorable.
I didn't color in the pumpkins instead I used a fall looking patterned paper I loved.

Have a wonderfully creative day, I can't wait to see what you create.

Fall in Love with Jo

Jo is on the blog today showing three AMAZING projects using our new September release FALL in Love!

Happy Sunday! It's me Jo for you today, sharing my projects using this month's release:

There's still plenty of time for Halloween projects, so here ya go!

Card 1: Have a BOO-tiful Halloween
This card features the cute owl image in the set, colored with my Copic markers and a little bit of sparkle from my Wink of Stella Clear Pen. I created a mini scene of the owl going trick or treating. The sentiment is embossed with white embossing powder and popped up on a dimensional foam dot.

Card 2: FALL in love
Moving into a Fall theme, I created this shaped card with a top note shaped die with faux stitching around the edges. The sentiment is embossed with gold embossing powder on top of vellum paper. I had the perfect fall leaves dies to go with the theme. I created a cluster of leaves, added some burlap twine and a rhinestone embellishment for sparkle.

Card 3: Autumn
For my last project, another Fall inspired card. I created an ombre effect with Distress Inks and used washi tape for a crisp clean border. I did a little paper piercing for added detail around the edges. There are two sizes of Stars in the set, randomly I stamped and embossed it with gold embossing powder, as well as the sentiment "Autumn". Using more of the leaves and burlap twine, I made a cluster and added some orange tulle for an embellishment in the center of the card.

I love Fall and this set will definitely come in handy for this season. Thanks for stopping by today and have a wonderful weekend!

Fall in Love with Heather H.

Heather is up today on the blog and has created some adorable fall themed cards using our new stamp set "FALL in Love".  She has some serious Copic coloring skills- check this out!

Good morning! Heather here from Houses Built of Cards - to share a few cards with you using the new stamp set for September - a perfectly timed fall set!!!

I'm a sucker for great sentiments - and love how they can take center stage on a card and make a bold statement at the same time, so the first stamp in this set that caught my eye was that fun sentiment at the bottom - PERFECT for watercolors!

I used some red, orange, and yellow MFT dye inks, and smooshed them onto my nonstick mat, then misted with water, and dipped my brush in to create a watercolor background on my watercolor paper. I stamped my sentiment over the top with Versafine ink (which won't run on the slightly damp paper!) and then misted it with Heidi Swapp Gold Color Shine - I love how much shine it adds, as well as the way the color ran on some of the edges. To finish off, I machine stitched the top of the watercolor paper to my white card base - and left the rest hanging free, then I added some doodles with a white gel pen.

Next up - isn't that wheelbarrow the CUTEST thing ever?!?!? And the sentiment is just as darling!

I stamped this on a tag I cut with a Paper Smooches tag die, colored it in with Copics, then added my sentiment with coordinating Hero Arts Shadow ink. Finished off with a strip of gold washi, then some lovely thick Linen May Arts Ribbon. I threaded it through the hole, then machine stitched it closed before adding an October Afternoon button with some jute twine in it. Pattern paper is by MME and Basic Grey. I also used a bit of distress ink on the edges of the tag, just to soften the whiteness a bit.

And lastly - I thought it would be fun to use this set to make a distinctly non fall card:

I had die cut the notebook piece with a PTI die, and it was sitting on my desk when I misted the ink for the first card - so it ended up with some ink splatters on it. Instead of throwing it away, I decided to make use of it for this card. I stamped my image and sentiment, colored with Copics, and added a bit of Stickles to the pie and whip cream. Layered on some torn vellum that I stitched on with some sequins, and a bit of washi tape. Finished off with some pattern paper from Crate Paper, a doily, a bit of jute twine, and a decorative corner punch on the top edges.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day!

Now that was a ""barrow of fun"!!!  Great job Heather!!

I added washi tape onto sentiment panel as well. Then I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored the bag with Copic Markers.
