A Latte Love With Pinky!

She is back, this girl is back...I am SO EXCITED that PINKY is BACK!!

Hey there Avocado Arts friends, I am BACK!
It's Pinky today with 3 new cards from this fun stamp set A Latte Love.

My first card is a 3-D Bendi card that I stamped the bees out and
fussy cut them, then adhered them to wires.
I also added the little BEE MINE banners.
If you wonder why the paper has texture it's because I spray painted it.

For my next card I created a coffee cup, I love my Starbucks!
I added some corrugated cardboard like they put on the outside, then
used a die to stamp "Thanks A Latte" on.
I also folded the die and popped it up with pop dots.

Ad for my last card I wanted to ink in multi color, so I went pastel.
I kept it simple but in person it shines, I wish I could've captured
the soft glow it has.

I hope you enjoyed my first post back!! I am so excited to be home again.
Until next time-Keep on creating.

Thanks Pinky!  I love you girl and you ROCKED this set!

A Latte Love with Heather H

Hello! Heather here from Houses Built of Cards - excited to be back crafting, and (mostly!) done unpacking - and able to share a few cards with you using the January stamp set - A Latte Love:

Now that we are back in Washington state, and in the land of Starbucks again, both my husband and I have been enjoying quick stops in there when we are in town, although I prefer tea and let him drink the coffee! So when I saw this cute image, I couldn't resist inking it up first!

I used some pattern paper from MME, including that vellum on the front section - it has shiny gold dots on it! Eeek - so cute! I heat embossed in white on the kraft, and cut a cute window to see my image through. I tore the bottom edges, and stitched the top together, before adding a bit of glitter washi and a wood veneer star.

Next up, I used those cute bees!

Layered some solid cardstock together, stamped the bees and sentiment in the little windows on my pattern paper - then colored in the bees with Spica glitter pens. Hard to see in the photos - but it made them fun and sparkly! Added some Mister Huey's white mist and a twist of jute twine to finish it off.

Last up, I had to do some watercolors again!

I colored with my Peerless watercolors, then stamped my image and sentiment over the top, adding some details with a white gel pen. Die cut that with a pinked edge die, added some Baker's Twine, and mounted over some American Crafts pattern paper.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day!

BEAUTIFUL JOB HEATHER!!!  Love the different techniques and perfect for Valentine's Day.

A Latte Love with Jo Thompson

HELLO! It is the weekend! I am in organization mode, so that is what I'll be doing to my craft area, no creating until it is clean! Glad I was able to sneak in these cards using the NEW set A Latte Love.

I am gearing up for Valentine's Day! Let's go!

Card 1: Sending you love
Lots of images to choose from in this adorable set. Here I used the larger of the two bees and I made it look like she is carrying the heart. The "Sending you love" is originally vertical but I masked the words to make it a vertical sentiment. The card base is kraft cardstock and used a cloud pattern paper as my background.

Card 2: Thanks a latte
You have to have a Starbucks gift card using this "Thanks a latte" sentiment. The mini latte is paper pieced with kraft cs and I added some Red Stickles to the heart. I made a gift card holder using a die and layered it over a black heart with faux stitching and a white doily.

Card 3: Bee Mine
Lastly, in my third card, the bees make another cameo. I used both the bee images multiple times. They are colored with my Copics. I used a picket fence embossing folder on a vellum heart and on the base of my card. It sort of mimics honeycombs. The "Bee Mine" sentiment is from the stamp set and I just popped it up with dimensional foam adhesive.

So there you have it, three Valentine's Day cards. I hope you enjoyed them and that you were inspired to make your own. Thanks for stopping by and see you soon!!

Absolutely adorable projects Jo!  Thanks for sharing ;)  Make sure and leave Jo some LOVE!
