Gingerbread Goodness with Teri

http://terisplace.wordpress.com/

Hi, Avocado Arts fans!
Teri here again, and I'm pumped to bring you three more cards made with Gingerbread Goodness!

And what goodness this stamp set is!
Like many members of the Pit Crew, I was "oh so inspired" by the set's super cute Gingerbread guy!
What I love about this set is you can use just the stamp set and make a cute card like this.

So fun!
And what's even more fun is you can pull images from other Avocado Arts' stamp sets and use them with the Gingerbread guy to create even more fun scenes!

I created a winter scene here by decorating the Gingerbread with some additional stamps from Avocado Arts' Smitten With You set. The snowflakes are from that set, too!
I also used Smitten With You to make this lovely little scene.

The scarf and glasses is from the Smitten With You set.
To give it a more friendship feel, I pulled in the hearts and words from Avocado Arts' Perfect Blend set.

That's all I have for you today!

Gingerbread Goodness with Julie

Hello to all you AA fans!  It's me, Julie, here featuring November's fabulous set, Gingerbread Goodness!  It hardly seems possible to be making holiday cards again, but 'tis the season!! The set this month is full of yummy treats, candycanes, gingerbread, gumdrops . . . .YUM!

First up I used the "Sweet" sentiment to make this super fast card featuring the candy stamps.  After stamping the main panel I simply paper pierced my square and used embroidery floss to stitch it up.  I love the bright green and fun colors that have a bit of a retro feel.

Next I wanted to use the darling gingy house - it's a nice large image so it definitely has to be the focal point of the card!  I kept it sort of simple, only coloring in and paper piecing a few elements.

To give it an extra touch I used a craft knife and cut around 3 sides of the door so that you can swing it open!  Then I tucked a chunky heart inside the door - awwww!

Last up is this sweet card using the gingerbread men.  I used the Cut File that coordinates perfectly with the whole set and is available for purchase from Avocado Arts.  It's super simple to just have the gingerbread outline and duplicate it 3 times to one side.  Once you have 4 gingerbread men you simple move them closer together, select the whole group and then "weld" them together - viola! they're connected!

As you can see I dressed them up a bit, girl, boy, girl, boy.  They are so darn cute they hardly need the embellies but I can't help adding a bit of bling anyway! :)

There you have it, Gingerbread Goodness.  I hope you've been inspired a bit to take a look and pick up the set!!

A bit of a sad note, this is my last post for Avocado Arts.  I truly wish I didn't have to go but my life has been crazy lately and I just don't seem to have the crafty time like I used to.  I want to thank Michelle and Lisa for the amazing opportunity to work with them and all of AA's beautiful stamps, it has been such fun!! I have to say that this company is first-class A+ and it shows!! I wish them all the best - that goes for the entire Pit Crew too!! I finer group of stampers/women would be hard to find, thank you for your friendship and kindness ladies!  Thank you too AA fans - you make it all worthwhile! MWAH!

Gingerbread Goodness With Pinky!

Good morning from a chilly Tennessee,
Pinky here today with 3 projects I created with the beautiful and versatile
Since it's a winter/Christmas set and I am...well ME...of course
I broke out the gold and silver embossing powders and glitter.

First up is a set of earrings and a gift card I created.
I will be posting a tutorial for these earrings on my blog
if you want to know how I created them.
With so many different stamps in this stamp set-
 your options are limitless!

Next up I have this gift bag set using these adorable burlap bags.
 Heat embossing little ginger couples-
The perfect little bag for a small gift.
Last but not least this wintry Christmas card or even just a
card for the winter season. Heat embossed in silver of course.

All just as much fun as the stamp set.
I hope you were inspired to create something fun today~

Gingerbread Goodness with Ashley Marcu

Hi Everyone! The holidays are just around the corner and Gingerbread Goodness is a great set for creating cards and gifts for the upcoming season!

I had such a fun time paper piecing the adorable house in the set.

The sentiment and snowflakes from Brrr! and the Nerdy Snow Peeps are a perfect fit to complement the Gingerbread Goodness set!

I kept Brrr! and the Nerdy Snow Peeps out for my next card too! I love the gingerbread boy dressed up in those colorful scarfs! :)

Finally, I combined the house and gingerbread man in a fun way with the perfect sentiment!

Gingerbread Goodness with Amy Tsuruta

Hello!  It's Amy T here, super excited to share some cards I designed using the month's adorable new release

A super cute new set, perfect for the upcoming holidays!

Here's my first card, I did some paper piecing on the Gingerbread house...

Um, yes, I'd love to live in a knit house (or is that crochet?)!

The Gingerbread house is wonderfully large but would still be a manageable size to copic color.

Disclaimer:
No Gingerbread cookies were harmed when making these next 2 cards.

Next up is the Gingerbread Cookie:

I stamped the card base with the cookies in white.  I cut 2 different size silver circles and stacked them to make them look like a holiday platter.

Oopsie!  Someone has already taken a bite out of the cookie!
(crackin' myself up!)

Perfect card to send to someone or include with, yup, a plate of gingerbread cookies!

As I've been doing in the past, I like to showcase the current release with an older release, check this card out:

I used

Such a cute snowglobe, don't you agree?

Someone has shaken the snowglobe so mr. gingerbread is floating around in the snow!

Thanks so much for stoppin' by!!!!

Welcome Gingerbread Goodness!!

Hello!!  Ashley here!  So happy to share with you the new November set called Gingerbread Goodness.   Such a fun and cute set.   So here we go!

Here is what I made with this yumminess.

What a cute house!  I stamped this with white pigment ink and then embossed to give it a more solid image.  Add bling for that extra something!

I love this little guy!  Yummy right!?!  It just makes me happy and I hope it makes you happy!  Enjoy and be sure to come back soon for more wonderful inspiration from the rest of the Pit Crew!
