Hollydays with Heather P.

Hi, everyone! Heather P. here with my take on November's stamp set, Hollydays! :)

To create my first tag, I started by stamping the deer image in Stazon gray ink, then colored it in with watercolors.  While the deer was drying, I cut out the tag shape from gray card stock and a piece of patterned paper, then stamped the sentiment in versamark before heat embossing with platinum powder.  I then cut out three snowflakes, and adhered them to the tag before covering them with stickles.  Once the deer was dry, I fussy cut it out, and adhered it to the tag with pop dots. To finish up, I added some coral ribbon and twine, then embellished with green gems.

For my next tag, I started by die cutting two tag shapes, one from patterned paper, and the other from vellum, then adhered them together.  I then stamped the holly image in Stazon gray ink, then lightly watercolored the image.  Next, I stamped the sentiment in versamark ink onto mint card stock before heat embossing with white powder.  Once the holly image was dry, I fussy cut it out and adhered it to the tag base.  I then adhered the sentiment to the tag with pop dots, and embellished with yellow enamel dots.  To finish up, I added some teal/white twine and a bow.

For my last tag, I started by cutting a tag shape from a piece of patterned paper.  I then stamped the tree image in versamark before heat embossing with gold powder.  I then adhered a strip of mint card stock to the bottom of the tag,  Next, I added some teal ribbon, and secured it with jute twine.  To finish up, I embellished with turquoise gems.

Well, that wraps it up for me, but please be sure to visit the Avocado Arts blog again for more inspiration!

Have a great one!
