A New Pit Crew Member!

Today we want to welcome our newest Pit Crew member Annette Allen!  She will be a fabulous addition to the Crew and we are ECSTATIC to have her!  Please give her a warm welcome!!

Here is a little bit about Annette in her own words:

My name is Annette Allen. I am a Christian and live life for the Lord. I have been a cardmaker since 1997 and I am happy to say that it is my passion. I enjoy being creative and I also feel that my crafts bring smiles. I have had many awesome opportunities and I am happy to be a part of the Avocado Arts Design Team. With the snowflakes falling, I would say they are the Perfect Pair.. Don't you think? 

 

To change it up from winter now I am thinking summer..

You can mix and match the sets to be for every occasion. 

 Mixing it up again this time I am going with a fun tag.
You will notice I am a non traditional color type of person. You will see me use some color combos that are sometimes wild. This one is calm but just giving you heads up.

I am so excited to be a part of the Avocado Arts Design Team.

Winter Fun...In Love! With Pinky

Good morning Avocado Arts FANS and friends!

It's just me today- Pinky with 3 brand new projects with this fantastic

Avocado Arts Winter Fun Stamp Set. You NEED this stamp set that's for sure!!

For this ornament project I found these Birch Wood tags in my local

craft store- I filed them down a bit and stamped right on them with copper ink!

Then I added some shimmer and pearls with glitter. 

I also inked the edges in a wintry blue color. 

How versatile is this set? From gorgeous detailed snowflakes to adorable

owl and amazing cardinals! I am IN LOVE!

For my next project I took two Clear Scraps acrylic banner pieces

and tied them together with twine and created this completely

clear card that was fun to stamp snowflakes on but terribly hard to photograph.

So look closely! :) 

I heat embossed this cutie in gold and colored her accessories. 

Now where can I buy her boots and scarf?? I want them. 

On this card I created a gift card holder by using an envelope 

on the front and using the tree stamp as a Christmas tree!

 I also embossed in white the snowflake, and the WINTER sentiment and

added in copper ink I LOVE YOU from the Sweet Treat Sweetie Stamp set!

Who says you can't mix and match? All the Avocado Arts stamps 

play well together!

Winter Fun with Ashley Marcu!

Hi Everyone! I'm ready to share all of my creations using the awesome new set Winter Fun! There are so many images in this set! Let's start with the adorable bird houses.

My card features all three bird houses in the set. Aren't they cute?

Next up are the mittens! I stamped them three times and matched them up with one of the fun sentiments found in the set. 

Finally, I paper pieced one of the owls to make this adorable tag.

Hey there everyone!  Today I get to share with you my take on the Winter Fun set!

With this card I whipped out my Copic markers and had some fun.  Those owls are so darn cute!!

This card I wanted it to be a just because card so I left the sentiment out.  I love those little bird houses.  Sigh.

Now for some nostalgia.  I wanted to show you a card I made around this time last year with the Smitten With You set.

I still love it.   Well have a wonderful day!!

Winter Fun with Amy

Hello!  It's Amy here with some Winter Fun!

I can't believe that it is already December!

I've put together a couple of holiday/winter cards!

My first one has the sweet 'lil owl peeking out of the cork circle.

To add a smidge of interest and a pop of color, I zig zagged the sentiment flag down.  I topped it off with bakers twine.

My second card is a CAS Chalkboard technique.  I didn't do any heat embossing or messy white ink on the tag.  I decided to keep it nice & clean.

I had to add the sweet wood veneer heart to the tree trunk.

My last card incorporates an older Avocado Arts set.  I like to do that with each of my posts.

The snowflakes are from Winter fun, I just stamped them with white ink on a kraft base.

To add a bit of BAM, I used a die cut snowflake and flicked blue ink on it.  The sentiment and heart are from the 

Perfect Blend
