Just For You with Amanda
I can hardly believe that June is just around the corner! Amanda from Popper & Mimi here today with some fun ways to use Avocado Arts new Just For You stamp set. Now that Mother's Day is over, it is time to get into gear for Father's Day.
I don't know what it is, but grandpas love peanuts! I thought it would be fun to decorate a canister of peanuts to give to grandpa this Father's Day.
I created the label by wrapping a canister with two strips of patterned paper. I stamped the sentiment on a label and adhered it to the front of the can. Super easy!
Not all Father's Day recipients are actually fathers. This simple card could be given to a brother, uncle, or any guy who is your hero. I stitched a piece of distressed patterned paper to the front of a card and adhered the stamped sentiment with foam. I added a piece of twine and a brad to make it look like a sign nailed to a wall.
I love the measuring tape in the Just Fore You set. You can combine any name with the sentiment to make a personalized card. I combined the sentiment with this cute ruler paper from Doodlebug.
Bonus card! Similar to the card above, I combined the measuring tape sentiment with some ruler patterned paper to make a cute card for grandpa.
Happy stamping!
Amanda

Just Fore You With Heather P.
Hi, everyone! Heather P. here with three projects featuring the new May set, Just Fore You.
For my first project, I started by die cutting a tag shape from gray card stock, then stamping the chevron image from When & Where with a slightly deeper shade of gray. Next, I stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink, then heat embossed with white powder. To finish up, I assembled the tag pieces, then embellished with white twine and orange enamel dots.
For my second project, I decided to make a mini-card by stamping the journaling card from When & Where in gray ink onto blue CS, then cutting a second card to fit the back. Next, I stamped the wave images from Sassy Chick in green ink, then trimmed them out and adhered them to the card front. I then stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink before heat embossing with white powder. To finish up, I added a small hole flag and enamel dot golf ball. :)
For my last project today, I started with a green card base, which was embossed with a circle design before adhering a piece of striped patterned paper to the card front. Next, I stamped the journaling card from When & Where in a light gray ink, then matted it onto aqua CS. I then stamped one of the mustache images in Versamark, and heat embossed with yellow powder. I wrapped the card front with teal twine, then adhered the image panel to the card front with pop dots. To finish up, I embellished with green enamel dots.
Well, that wraps it up for me today, but be sure to come back on the 25th for more Avocado Arts inspiration! :)
Have a great one!

Just Fore You with Teri
Hey there, Avocado Arts fans!
I'm happy to be here again with some new projects for you.
First, all of the projects you are about to see were made with the new Just Fore You stamp set.
Good stuff!
So let's get on with the projects.
I created the text background for this card by stamping a bunch of the phrases with brown ink onto kraft cardstock. To offset the starkness of the stamping, I covered the panel with vellum.
That panel you see the "hero" phrase stamped on? It's cork. Boy, I just love the look!
This card is fairly simple compared to the last one.
I adhered strips of patterned paper on top of a patterned paper panel and then simply stamped the sentiment onto a large strip of kraft cardstock.
This final card is the result of a personal challenge. I am a big fan of trying to get more bang for the buck with the stamp sets I own so I challenged myself to make a feminine card with this month's set, even though it has such a masculine vibe.
I think it turned out pretty nice!
To give the "hero" phrase a more feminine feel, I colored it in with green and pink markers. To really make the coloring pop, I put a layer of Glossy Accents on top.
Thanks for stopping by today! I'll see you again soon!

Just Fore You with Annette Allen
Welcome sweet Avocado Arts friends..
Now to kick it off with this fun set.
We have celebrated Mother's day now on to Father's Day. On this card I used two of the sentiments and just added a little of designer paper. I colored the ERO with ZIG Wink of Stella Green.
Now for those awesome Husbands.. I stamped the background. How much do you love that mustache and I just love that there are three to choose from. I then stamped the No One Measures Up To You, trimmed around it and then used some pop dots to make it pop.
My husband also loves to Golf so I just had to use this fun sentiment too.
The background is watercolored.
Now how much do you love this set.
Every stamp is full of fun and I would say it is a must have.
You can purchase this set on the Avocado Arts Online Store HERE.
Thanks for joining me today.
I hope that I have inspired you!

Just Fore YOU with Pinky!
Hey there AA friends,
It's Pinky today with a few very MASCULINE cards full of texture
and manly stuff. Haha.
This first card I actually stamped onto cork paper and used
not only corrugated paper but also burlap.
I want the recipient to know I know he is a MAN!
Such great stamps for that guy in your life and I have 3 boys, so I needed them!
This second card I created on chalkboard paper because
I still felt like it was pretty manly.
See the DAD stamp? I used Staz-On Cotton white ink to stamp that on
and it totally looks like chalk!
To add more texture I used green corrugated paper to create
a banner and I added black and grey buttons. NO pink here people!
And on the last card I used that handy dandy crock paper again...
stamping the mustaches on it, then combining the chalkboard paper and the
burlap too...hey- I am making it manly if it kicks me!
I used some textured card stock for the sentiment, which
I love how it came out all textur-ee.
Such great high quality stamps and clearly they stamp on so many surfaces
when you coordinate with the right inks!
Until next time- Keep on creating!

Just Fore You with Heather H.
Good morning! Heather here from Houses Built of Cards - to share a few cards with you using the new stamp set for May - full of fabulous Father's Day sentiments and images. I usually struggle with guy cards, and this stamp set made it so easy that I made 4 cards instead of 3 to share today!
First up, I used the You Are My Hero sentiment to stamp a background on my card base. I stamped it one more time in the same color on a white die cut circle, adhered to my card, and added a few ink splatters with some Mister Huey's.
For my next card, I stamped the No one Measures up to You sentiment in a soft gray ink, and then in a deep red to get a shadow effect, then added the word Dad above that. Trimmed at an angle and matted in black on my pattern paper.
Next up, I decided to play around with watercolor for a guy card! I created a super simple wash of color on my watercolor panel, dried with my heat gun, then stamped my sentiment - adding some Glossy Accents to the golf ball to help it "pop" a little bit.
I used the same sentiment for my last card, but added a panel of torn paper, and some black jute twine on the bottom.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day!
